The Other

The other

These imaginary portraits are gestural paintings or action painting. They are made with big brushes, and the paintings are brought to life by the rapid brush strokes which structure the picture space. The physical act of painting is the main concern of the artist in this series.

A face is like a book, it reveals a story. This is the story of a moment, that particular moment in witch an emotion or a feeling was captured and transformed into an image.
