The Union boutique, located in the Alleyway, closed recently and I was given one month to prepare an art event. The place looked really nice but I still needed to do some works to adapt it to be able to host an art exhibition. I gathered a group of emerging artists and art professionals. They were all excited about this opportunity to show their newest creations.

Doing a simple art exhibition was not enough for me. I see exhibitions everyday and I must say I got bored of the serious atmosphere you find in white cubes. I wanted to do an event that would attract not only art people but aIl kind of people. And this is how I combined contemporary art with cooking art, music, mime, and street art, to make this of this art exhibtion an art fiesta :)

The Exhibition:

The exhibition featured paintings by Sarah Francis and Sandra Issa, a video work by Sandra Suarez& MArcuss Lahoud, photography by May Farra and Sherine Raffoul and sculpture by Arlette Sauveur.

The opening:

The opening night was Thrusday June 28, 2012 and gathered all kind of people: friends, architects, art professionals, students; in a very friendly atmosphere.
